Premier League 2011-2012 : Top 10 signings of the season

Whether its a club record signing or a bargain basement Bosman there is always some value to be had in the transfer market. In the English Premier league this season there has been plenty of moves with many of them proving to be quite successful for their respective clubs. The list provided rounds off the top signings starting at number ten with Yakubu of Blackburn,  Demba Ba of Newcastle, Ashley Young of Manchester united, Anthony Pilkington of Norwich, Scott Parker of Tottenham, Yohan Cabaye of Newcastle, Micehal Vorm of Swansea, Papiss Cisse of Newcastle, Juan Mata of Chelsea fc, and last but not least Sergio Aguero of Manhcester city.

Uefa will not change their rules on yellow cards for the Champions league for at least three years despite six players being suspended for the Chelsea vs. Bayern Munich Final after being cautioned in the semi finals. European’s football governing body have already rejected a plea for clemency from the international players’ union FIFPro for the six players three from each club -  and have now stated their  will be no change until at least 2015. Michael Van Praag, the Dutch Uefa executive committee who is the head of the body’s champion league Rules group.

La Liga Champions 2012
Real Madrid won their 32^nd League title by defeating Athletic Bilbao 3-0  and are currently the champions of the 2011/2012  La Liga . The royal whites put on an amazing performance at Sans Memes stadium with goals by Higuain, Ozil and Cristiano Ronaldo. This season had undoubtedly been one of great pride and anguish due to the unrelenting efforts of domestic league rivals F.C. Barcelona as well as international European competition in the Champions  league.
